Bowers replaces Interim Publisher Tom Salvo, who will continue in his primary role of circulation director for The Citizen and The Post-Star in Glens Falls, New York.

Bowers most recently served as advertising director for Downtown Digital Group, a division of Johnson Newspaper Corporation. She was vice president of sales for All Times Publishing from 2013 to 2015. Bowers began her career in the industry in 1995 with The Post-Standard in Syracuse, New York, as an assistant to the national advertising manager and joined the sales team as an account executive in 1999.
